BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on November 7 that, together with local affiliated organizations, it conducted a voice phishing prevention publicity campaign at the 2025 Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival.

View original imageThe campaign, held at 3.15 Marine Nuri Park and Happo Riverside Park, was attended by Kim Kyungok, Executive Director of BNK Kyongnam Bank; Woo Myunghee, Director of Economic and Corporate Affairs at Gyeongsangnam-do; Kim Junghoon, Head of the Gyeongnam Branch of the Bank of Korea; Shin Gyujong, Head of the Gyeongnam Office of the Financial Supervisory Service; and Lee Hyogeun, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation.
Representatives from the participating organizations set up a voice phishing prevention booth and distributed leaflets containing information on major voice phishing techniques and response guidelines to visitors at the festival, raising awareness about important precautions.
Additionally, they provided souvenirs through activities such as a voice phishing response quiz event and by promoting the emergency livelihood loan support program for individuals with low credit scores.
