Gyeonggi Province to Hold 'Climate Leadership Day' on the 8th... Including Talk Concert
Gyeonggi Province will host the "2025 Gyeonggi-do Climate Leadership Day" on November 8 at the Grand Auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation in Gwanggyo, Suwon.
This event is designed as a venue to share the achievements of this year's projects led by the Gyeonggi-do Carbon Neutrality Support Center and to bring together stakeholders from Gyeonggi Province, city and county officials, and residents.
The event is organized by Gyeonggi Province and co-hosted by the Gyeonggi Environmental Energy Agency and the Gyeonggi-do Carbon Neutrality Support Center.
The main programs include: ▲ Awards for contributors to carbon neutrality ▲ Sharing of 2025 project achievements ▲ Climate talk concert ▲ Afternoon session (activists' meeting), among others. On this day, Gyeonggi Province will present awards to 43 individuals who have contributed to the practice of carbon neutrality, with commendations from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province and the President of the Gyeonggi Environmental Energy Agency.
Byun Sangki, Director of Climate and Environmental Policy at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Every resident who attends the event is a climate leader driving Gyeonggi Province's climate policies," and added, "From seniors to youth, at home, in schools, welfare centers, villages, and even online, we will build a Gyeonggi-style carbon-neutral community where citizens participate in every space, together with you all."
