Daishin Securities Launches Prize Event to Celebrate Resumption of U.S. Stock Daytime Trading
Prize Draw for Daytime Trading Customers Until November 28
Hanok Stay Voucher and Fractional U.S. Stock Rewards
Daishin Securities announced on November 4 that it will hold a prize draw event for individual customers to celebrate the resumption of U.S. stock daytime trading.
U.S. stock daytime trading was suspended in August last year due to issues with the U.S. Alternative Trading System (ATS), but has resumed after 1 year and 3 months following improvements to a "multiple ATS" integration structure.
The event runs for 18 business days from today until November 28. During this period, customers who purchase at least 300,000 KRW of U.S. stocks (including ETFs) in a single day during daytime trading hours (10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) via Daishin Securities' HTS or MTS platforms (CyBoss and Creon) will receive one entry ticket per business day. Up to 18 tickets can be accumulated, and new account holders during the event period will receive one additional entry ticket.
A total of 12 winners will receive a one-night stay voucher at Wolhwajae Hanok, and those who participate in social networking service (SNS) verification will receive an additional fractional U.S. stock worth 30,000 KRW. The prizes are scheduled to be distributed in early December.
Cho Taewon, Head of Customer Solutions at Daishin Securities, said, "We are pleased to relaunch the U.S. stock daytime trading service with enhanced stability. We hope customers will enjoy convenient daytime trading and the benefits of this event."
