Man in His 50s Arrested for Wielding Toy Knife at Wine Bar
A man in his 50s was apprehended by police after threatening other patrons with a toy knife at a bar.
According to police on October 30, the Jongno Police Station in Seoul arrested Mr. A at the scene on charges of public intimidation and released him after questioning.
At around 9:40 p.m. that day, Mr. A allegedly threatened customers at a wine bar in Jongno 2-ga by waving a pair of plastic handcuffs and a toy knife. No one was injured, but customers evacuated and business operations were halted.

The toy knife Mr. A was holding was reportedly 15 centimeters in total length, with an 8-centimeter blade. A police official stated, "Since it was clear that the knife was a toy, we did not take him into custody."
