The "Ttubugi Health Day" walk along the Seocheon Riverside was held with the support of the POSCO 1% Foundation and Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority, as part of the "Bowling and Our Path Beautiful Steps Healing Project" that began in March. This project, conducted in partnership with Gwangyang Steelworks, helps people with disabilities who face challenges in participating in sports activities to more easily access bowling and walking exercises, thereby improving their social skills.

The "Ttubugi Health Event" is a rebranded version of the health walking event held until last year. Over the past three years, 1,044 participants have joined, earning the event a reputation as a festival promoting harmony among people with disabilities, their families, and citizens.

On the day of the event, the Gwangyang Steelworks Talent Volunteer Group also participated, fostering a culture of sharing and warmth. The calligraphy talent volunteer group operated a calligraphy badge-making experience booth at the event, providing an enjoyable opportunity for citizens to interact. In addition, booths were set up at various points along the Seocheon Riverside walking course to distribute bottled water and offer face painting and tattoo stickers, adding to the festive atmosphere.

A representative from Gwangyang Steelworks said, "The Ttubugi Health Event is a meaningful occasion where people with disabilities, their families, and local residents come together to care for their health and share their hearts. We will continue to carry out a variety of sharing activities with the local community to make Gwangyang a happier place for everyone."

Meanwhile, the POSCO 1% Foundation, funded by the salaries of POSCO employees, is operated through donations from POSCO Group and partner company employees, as well as matching grants from the company. The foundation actively identifies those in need, such as multicultural families, people with disabilities, seniors living alone, and low-income households, and supports their stable independence.
