View original imageGran's Remedy is a powdered shoe deodorizer available in three varieties: Original (unscented), Peppermint, and Orange. JW Life & Health has been the official importer and distributor of Gran's Remedy in Korea since 2022. The product is characterized by its long-lasting deodorizing effect, which can last up to six months when used once a day for one week. It demonstrates powerful deodorizing performance even in environments where feet sweat heavily, earning it nicknames such as "Grandma's Magic Powder" and "Shoe Powder" online, and maintaining steady popularity among consumers. Recently, it was confirmed that counterfeit products imitating the genuine article have been sold on some online platforms, raising concerns about consumer confusion. In response, JW Life & Health, in cooperation with the New Zealand headquarters, attaches official hologram stickers to the products to ensure authenticity.
The two companies shared updates on Gran's Remedy's sales performance in Korea and future marketing plans, discussed the characteristics of the Korean retail market and consumer lifestyle, and reviewed strategies to strengthen localization. They also considered campaigns tailored to the domestic distribution environment, expanding distribution partnerships, and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
Based on these discussions, JW Life & Health plans to strengthen domestic marketing, expand key retail and distribution channels, identify opportunities for collaboration and joint development, and enhance the brand's sustainability and credibility.
