On October 29, the city of Gyeongju announced that it had successfully supported the local government on-site investment briefing (IR) program of the 'Invest Korea Summit 2025,' hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), welcoming a group of foreign investors and international journalists consisting of 27 people from 10 countries.
This visit was organized as part of a program to directly showcase the excellent investment environment of regional areas ahead of the main event being held in Seoul (October 20-31).
The city of Gyeongju, in collaboration with North Gyeongsang Province, meticulously coordinated the on-site schedule, focusing on promoting its status as the host city for the APEC summit.

They then toured the economic exhibition hall, which featured booths from more than 30 companies based in North Gyeongsang Province, as well as Gyeongju Tower, to assess the region's industrial potential.

In particular, the city assessed that the event promoted Gyeongju’s attractiveness as an investment destination in a global city where culture and industry converge, and served as an opportunity to lay the groundwork for attracting foreign investment in the post-APEC era.
