Gyeonggi Province Dispatches Environmental Industry Trade Promotion Team, Expands Export Channels to Southeast Asia
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency achieved export consultation results worth 22.6 million dollars through the Southeast Asia Trade Promotion Team.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 29th that from the 20th to the 25th, it dispatched the "Environmental Industry Southeast Asia Trade Promotion Team," consisting of 16 companies from the province, to Bangkok, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, achieving export consultation results worth 22.63 million dollars.
The trade promotion team recorded export consultation results of 10.74 million dollars in Bangkok and 11.89 million dollars in Kuala Lumpur, respectively.
In particular, Gyeonggi Province stated that buyers who participated in the consultation meetings showed strong interest in water treatment facilities, waste resource recycling technologies, water and sewage management systems, and eco-friendly plastics, leading to a total of seven business agreements being signed on-site.
