The newly established Reading Plaza Libraries are located at Daewon Park (2 locations), Seongnam Mulbit Park in Gumi-dong, Oyasori-gil in Yatap 3-dong, Hwarang Park in Sampyeong-dong, Jeongja Park, and the auto camping site at Yuldong Park.
The existing libraries are located at Wirye Central Plaza, Wirye Riverside Park, Taepyeong Park, Jungwon Youth Center Plaza, Sanseong Park, Yuldong Park (2 locations), Jungang Park, Jeongja and Pangyo Station Plazas, and the picnic areas in Sunae-dong and Seohyeon-dong along the Tancheon Stream.
Each Reading Plaza Library features a red bookshelf with sliding doors, stocked with around 300 books.
Long benches or bean bag sofas are placed nearby to create a comfortable atmosphere where visitors can sit and read.
The books can be freely taken out and read without any borrowing procedures, as long as they are returned to their place the same day.
Staff from the local public libraries are responsible for replenishing or replacing the books on a quarterly basis.
