Careing Accelerates Care Robot Ecosystem Development with New Motion Scale Division

Careing, a company specializing in senior care, announced on the 21st that it has established a new Motion Scale Division. This move is aimed at the systematic training and management of motion data required for the development of humanoid care robots.
Careing launched the Motion Scale Division to proactively address the shortage of care workers in Korea and to innovate care services. This division will be responsible for generating, analyzing, and training motion data essential for the development of humanoid robots, leveraging Careing's expertise in senior care and its on-site operational capabilities.
In particular, Careing plans to jointly pursue Physical AI projects with domestic and international robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) companies. The company will establish a close collaborative system across data, technology, and operations to help foster the care robot ecosystem. Physical AI refers to intelligent technology where AI is combined with physical hardware, enabling direct perception, decision-making, and physical tasks in the real world.
Recently, Careing signed a business agreement with MirrorMe, a Chinese robotics technology startup, for the joint development of care robots. The company has also entered into a business agreement with the Korean AI company MaumAI for joint research and development in the field of Physical AI.
