Donghae City Establishes Customized Policies with Data... Launches 'Living Mobility Dashboard' Service
Donghae City in Gangwon Province announced on October 21 that it has introduced a scientific decision-making system across its administrative operations to strengthen its data-driven administrative capabilities, and began operating the 'Living Mobility Dashboard Service' on October 16, which analyzes citizens' lifestyle patterns.
This service was launched as part of building a digital administrative platform to improve work processes through scientific data analysis and to provide customized administrative services for citizens.
Any Donghae City resident can easily access the service via the Living Population tab on the city's official website.
The 'Living Mobility Dashboard Service' is a platform that visually provides statistics-based living mobility population data. Its main features include a comprehensive status service of living mobility population by district, analysis of population flows and stays by various conditions, and GIS analysis services that visualize data on maps according to region and period, making it easy to understand at a glance.
Through this service, administrative agencies can establish customized policies and allocate resources efficiently based on population flows and lifestyle patterns. It is also expected to be useful in the private sector for purposes such as commercial district analysis and developing strategies for operating tourism and cultural facilities, thereby helping to set directions for regional revitalization.
Donghae City aims to lay the foundation for scientific administration based on data through this service, with the goal of implementing accurate and prompt policies that citizens can directly experience.
