Justice Minister Jeong Seongho, known for his muscular physique, has drawn attention after a video revealed that he lost his front teeth due to heavy workloads.

View original imageOn the 2nd, the official YouTube channel of the Ministry of Justice uploaded a video showing Minister Jeong visiting Jeongsim Girls' Middle and High School (Anyang Juvenile Reformatory) on September 26. During his visit, Minister Jeong observed the educational environment and personally participated in a baking class.
When students praised him, saying, "You did so well," Minister Jeong smiled broadly, revealing that several of his front teeth were missing. He quickly covered his mouth and, appearing embarrassed, said, "I shouldn't be laughing," and added, "They told me not to smile because I lost my teeth."
Although Minister Jeong did not directly mention the reason for his missing teeth, subtitles in the video explained that his teeth fell out due to the heavy workload of tasks such as prosecution reform. It is also known that Minister Jeong recently attended the Ministry of Justice's National Assembly audit by the Legislation and Judiciary Committee wearing a dental prosthesis due to his missing teeth.
Previously, Minister Jeong became a hot topic when photos of his well-defined muscles and abs were released, despite being over 60 years old. He has reportedly engaged in weight training for many years and is known to bench press nearly 100 kilograms.

Former President Moon Jae-in reportedly had ten teeth extracted and received dental implants while serving as Senior Presidential Secretary for Civil Affairs during the Roh Moo-hyun administration because of the intense workload. President Lee Jaemyung also revealed that his teeth became loose due to the pressure during South Korea-U.S. tariff negotiations.
