Government Restores "Korea Policy Briefing"... Service Resumes from 3 p.m.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that it resumed the operation of the "Korea Policy Briefing," which had been suspended due to the fire at the Daejeon National Information Resources Service (NIRS) on September 26, starting from 3:00 p.m. on October 15.
The Korea Policy Briefing is the government's official policy information website, providing a comprehensive range of policy-related news (policy news, contributions, columns), digital content (videos, card news, etc.), and a "Briefing Room" (speeches, press releases, and more).
Following the NIRS fire, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a temporary site for the Korea Policy Briefing and, from the morning of September 29, provided press releases from each ministry in a bulletin board format. The ministry also worked on restoring the Korea Policy Briefing system and recovering data alongside the NIRS.
The restored Korea Policy Briefing now offers services at a level similar to before the fire. However, the ministry explained that video content, short-form videos, and briefing materials from each ministry have not yet been restored and will be provided promptly through subsequent recovery efforts.
