This donation was carried out as part of the employee walking campaign, "Healthy Daily Life, Sharing Happy Hope!" Approximately 6,600 employees participated in the campaign, and a total of 200 million won was raised by accumulating 5 won for every 100 steps taken over 100 days.
The funds raised will be used to provide customized childcare product packages, tailored to each stage of a child's growth, to 500 families nationwide in the early stages of childbirth. The packages will be delivered in three rounds and will include items such as baby bidets, newborn-specific detergents, diapers, and clothing.
A KB Kookmin Bank representative stated, "We hope this support will provide practical help to families with newborns and help ease the burden during the early stages of childcare. Moving forward, we will continue to expand social contribution activities in which employees participate together, practice sharing and inclusion, and contribute to creating a warm and caring society to help overcome the low birth rate."
