This year, applications for the Kyowon CQ Creativity Competition can be submitted through the Kyowon CQ website until December 7. Applicants who register by the 20th of this month will receive a 15% discount on the application fee. The competition consists of two rounds of evaluation. Based on the results of the first round, top-performing students in each grade will be selected and granted eligibility to participate in the second round.

The first round will take place on December 21 at Hanyang University in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, while the second round will be held on February 8, 2026, at the Kyowon Challenge Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The first round is based on the school curriculum and requires students to read passages that integrate concepts from language, mathematics, and science, then write descriptive answers. The second round involves deriving creative solutions to specific tasks.

Afterward, a panel consisting of professors from Seoul National University of Education and external experts will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of both rounds to select a total of 60 creative and convergent talents, awarding a total of 30 million won in scholarships. All participants will receive a joint certificate from the 'Kyowon Group-Seoul National University of Education International Center for Gifted Science Education.' In addition, each participant will receive an individual results report, scored and analyzed directly by professional researchers from Seoul National University of Education. The report will include scores for mathematics, science, and language, as well as creative problem-solving skills, along with personalized learning advice for improvement.

A Kyowon Group representative stated, "We will continue to provide children with diverse opportunities for learning and growth, and remain committed to nurturing future talent."
