Woori Bank announced that on the morning of the 13th, President Jinwan Jeong visited the Namdaemun Market Merchants Association to listen to the difficulties faced by small business owners and discuss customized support plans from the bank. At his inauguration ceremony in January, President Jeong also emphasized support for small business owners and expressed his commitment to revitalizing traditional markets and expanding financial support. Since taking office, he has established the SOHO Business Division to actively pursue inclusive finance for small business owners.
During the "Woori Financial Group Together Festa," which runs from October 13 to 31, Woori Bank will provide full cashback on the first month's interest to new customers of the "Woori Owner Loan" and offer 20,000 Naver Pay points to new subscribers of the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid program.
In addition, Woori Bank is providing approximately 1 trillion won in emergency operating funds at low interest rates to 29,000 small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners through agreements and special contributions with regional credit guarantee foundations. The bank has also expanded the "Woori Small Business Comprehensive Support Center" from 6 to 11 locations to offer consulting on business operations and closures, and provides preferential interest rates to those who complete the consulting program.
Furthermore, Woori Bank continues to support the field by providing smart card payment terminals for traditional market merchants and opening its headquarters and nearby branch parking lots to customers visiting on weekends.
