New Universe Wins Grand Prize in IR Competition
The Korea Creative Content Agency held 'U-KNOCK 2025' at the Hilton Orchard Hotel in Singapore from the 29th of last month to the 1st of this month.
View original imageThe Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 13th that fifteen domestic companies in the film, animation, performance, and platform sectors held 110 consultation sessions with forty-two local companies at 'U-KNOCK 2025,' which took place in Singapore from the 29th of last month to the 1st of this month. Some of these consultations have progressed to the stage of actual investment consideration. Woo Sungbae, Head of Content Finance Support at the Korea Creative Content Agency, stated, "We have established a solid foundation for practical cooperation," and added, "We will continue to provide support to help companies successfully enter overseas markets."
This event was held at the Hilton Orchard Hotel in conjunction with 'All That Matters 2025,' Asia's largest entertainment conference. Participating companies took part in investment presentations (IR), one-on-one consultations, and networking receptions. Some companies presented their content business models and growth potential to five local venture capital firms.

In the IR competition, New Universe (short-form IP and blockchain) won the grand prize, while Brush Theatre (mixed reality performances) received the excellence award. Nuri House (K-beauty) and Lala Station (entertainment commerce) also received awards in their respective categories.
