Chuncheon City in Gangwon Province (Mayor: Yuk Donghan) will host the '2025 2nd Chuncheon Farmers Market' for two days from October 11 to 12 at the Samaksan Lake Cable Car Uiam Lake Station Square. Following the first Farmers Market held in June, this event is organized by Chuncheon City and operated by the Chuncheon City Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration Support Center.
This market will feature local agricultural products, processed goods, and handmade crafts, all adding to the autumn atmosphere. There will be sock yarn craft and seedling planting experiences for children and families to enjoy together, making it an attractive destination for family visitors. A consultation booth for those interested in returning to farming or rural migration will also be available, and visitors will receive small commemorative gifts.
The Chuncheon Farmers Market is a producer-centered direct transaction market. Participating farmers are not charged any fees, and consumers can purchase seasonal agricultural products at reasonable prices without intermediaries. Farmers meet consumers directly, conveying the true value of their agricultural products, cultivated with hard work and dedication.
