October 25, 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (headed by Lee Seyong) will host the 2nd Hanul Sanggo Cultural Festival Autumn Edition, titled 'Uljin Kids! Carpe Diem (Seize the Day),' at Hanul Energy Farm on October 25 at 3 p.m.
True to its name, which means 'always think,' the Sanggo Cultural Festival is designed to help children develop independent thinking skills. Following the Spring Edition (drawing contest), this Autumn Edition will feature a writing contest, an ESG Halloween experience, and a board game tournament, among other activities.
The writing contest is open to all elementary school students in Uljin. Submitted works will later be published as a collection and displayed at Hanul Energy Farm.
For the ESG Halloween experience, children who enter in costume will receive commemorative gifts, with costumes also available for rent. Through concept missions, character greetings, and craft booths, participants can immerse themselves in Halloween culture.
The board game tournament will be divided into student and general divisions and held in a tournament format, with prizes awarded to the winners.
There will also be a donation activity where participants can make traffic safety keyrings, which can be used as traffic accident prevention items for children. In addition, various activities such as balloon art, sand art, and busking performances will help warm up the chilly weather with lively content.
Head of Headquarters Lee Seyong stated, "I hope children will be the true protagonists as they enjoy a variety of activities throughout the day. We will do our best to provide opportunities for them to develop their thinking skills through literature and the arts."
