Chilgok County Holds Completion Ceremony for "Back Gate Specialized Street of the U.S. Military Base"
Safe and Convenient for Both Residents and Visitors
Chilgok County in North Gyeongsang Province held a completion ceremony for the "Back Gate Specialized Street of the U.S. Military Base" in Seokjeon 2-ri on September 30.
More than 200 residents attended the event, along with key guests such as Kim Jaewook, Governor of Chilgok County; Lee Sangseung, Chairman of the Chilgok County Council; Bae Seongdo, Vice Chairman of the Chilgok County Council; Kwon Sunho, County Council member; and Koo Jeonghoe, County Council member.

View original imageThe head of Seokjeon 2-ri explained the achievements of the project, including the creation of the specialized street from January 2024 to July 2025, the improvement of village pathways (including the construction of a parking lot), and the renovation of public restrooms. He stated, "This was made possible thanks to the support from the governor, the county council, and county officials," and added, "I will continue to do my best for the development of our village together with the residents."
