The Korean Red Cross (President Kim Cheolsoo) announced on October 1 that Paldo, a comprehensive food company, donated 250 sets of its products worth 24 million won to self-reliant youths for the Chuseok holiday. For this donation, Paldo created "Support Sets," each including one box of Paldo Jjajang, Wangttukkeong, and Birak Sikhye. These support sets will be delivered to self-reliant youths through the Korean Red Cross, helping those who must spend the holiday alone to have convenient meals and a warm holiday. Including this donation, Paldo has provided a total of 180 million won in support to the Korean Red Cross to date. Choi Iksang, Compliance Management Team Leader at Paldo, said, "We decided on this donation to offer a small comfort and encouragement to youths preparing for independence during Chuseok," adding, "Paldo will continue to carry out various sharing activities to deliver warm messages of support to neighbors in our society."

Good Neighbors Gyeonggi Southern Regional Headquarters announced that, together with Seopyeongtaek Dairum Center, it conducted the "Hope Sharing Dream Support" program every Tuesday for a total of five sessions from September 9 to 30. About 50 children and adolescents, including those with Korean heritage and migrant backgrounds as well as mid-immigration youths, participated in the program to explore their futures and gain diverse career experiences. The program included ▲expanding dreams by attending a Hwaseong FC match, ▲understanding oneself and the world through life graphs and 3D world puzzles, ▲imagining the future through cases of "Children Who Changed the World," ▲career exploration and expressing dreams, and ▲woodworking job experiences. Through these activities, the participants discovered what they like and are good at, and had the opportunity to envision their future selves.

The Korean Red Cross Seoul Chapter (President Kwon Youngkyu) announced on October 1 that, ahead of the nation's major Chuseok holiday, it will reach out to vulnerable groups in welfare blind spots across Seoul, delivering holiday food and emotional support. The "Chuseok Warmth Sharing with Elderly Living Alone" campaign is a holiday sharing program in which Red Cross volunteers visit neighbors in welfare blind spots, delivering food packages including songpyeon, assorted jeon, and seasonal fruits, while checking in on their well-being. A total of 746 Red Cross volunteers plan to visit 5,332 vulnerable households in Seoul before the holiday to provide companionship. Approximately 180 million won in donations from all sectors of society has been raised to prepare abundant holiday food and operate the program. At the "Holiday Food Sharing Festival" held in front of Seongdong-gu Office in Seoul, President Kim Cheolsoo of the Korean Red Cross and other officials attended to encourage the volunteers who worked from early morning to prepare holiday food for those in need.
