On September 30, Daejeon City hosted the '2025 Daejeon Youth Employment Fair' at City Hall, where leading local and global companies such as Merck, Bioneer, and Withtech participated. They operated recruitment halls and consultation booths, engaging directly with young attendees.
Long queues formed throughout the venue, and young people actively participated in special lectures and information sessions, making the event a practical opportunity for career exploration and job search strategy development.
At the opening ceremony, Daejeon Mayor Lee Jangwoo and about 20 distinguished guests toured company booths, the career planning center, and the policy promotion center, offering encouragement to those on site.
Mayor Lee Jangwoo emphasized, "We will create a virtuous cycle where companies and young people, the driving forces of economic vitality, grow together," and added, "We will do our utmost to foster a youth-friendly city environment where young people want to stay."
