Lee Boknam Appointed as Chairman of Jojuk Innovation Party Suncheon Regional Committee
Four-Term Independent and Civic Activism Highly Regarded
Lee Boknam, a member of the Suncheon City Council, has been appointed as the inaugural chairman of the Jojuk Innovation Party Suncheon Regional Committee. On September 30, the Jojuk Innovation Party announced that it made this decision in recognition of Lee's experience as a four-term independent council member and his track record as a civic activist.

With this appointment, the Jojuk Innovation Party is expected to solidify its political foundation in Suncheon. There is speculation that Chairman Lee may either seek a fifth term in the Suncheon City Council or attempt to enter the provincial council in next year's local elections.
