Changwon City Public Officials Yeongsin Volunteer Corps Delivers Fruit and Sponsorship Funds for Chuseok
The Yeongsin Volunteer Corps, comprised of public officials from Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province, delivered fruit and facility sponsorship funds to Yeongsinwon, a child protection facility located in Masanhappo-gu, on September 29 ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
Since 2002 and continuing through 2025, the Yeongsin Volunteer Corps has regularly sponsored children in need at Yeongsinwon every month, providing support for educational expenses and Didim Seed Account savings to help establish self-reliance funds for children after they leave the facility through self-support program funding.
Additionally, the group has supported housing improvement projects such as wallpapering, flooring, and bathroom repairs, as well as other partnership initiatives to enhance the living environment. Currently, 25 infants and adolescents reside at Yeongsinwon.
