With the philosophy of “honest construction, responsible building,” Moonjang Construction has adhered to its three zero principles-zero actual debt, zero promissory note issuance, and zero unsold units. Since its establishment in 2001, the company has supplied more than 10,000 apartment units, establishing itself as a leading mid-sized residential construction firm.
On September 29, Moonjang Construction announced that next month it will complete the development of Namak New Town in Mokpo, South Jeolla Province-a project that began in 2005. Namak New Town has been developed over the past 20 years as the administrative and educational center of South Jeolla Province and is considered a key hub in the southwestern region. The upcoming sale of units in Oryong District 2 is effectively the final supply in the area and marks the grand finale of Namak New Town’s 20-year development.
The “GNHaim Namak Oryong District” (tentative name) to be built by Moonjang Construction will be located in blocks 37 and 38 of Oryong District 2. A total of 793 units will be constructed-371 units in one block and 422 units in the other-with the tallest building reaching 25 stories. The complex will be situated between “Oryong City Pradium” (534 units, occupied this year) and “Oryong Prugio Parcena Phases 1 and 2” (732 units, occupied last year).
Residents of this complex will have access to the full range of amenities available in Namak New Town, which is home to nearly 20,000 households. By crossing the Namchang Bridge into the Namak District, residents can enjoy facilities such as Lotte Mart and Outlet (Namak Branch), the South Jeolla Provincial Library, and the Namak Park Golf Course. The residential land development that began in Namak and Okgam Districts has now expanded to Oryong District. To date, more than 10,000 households have moved in, and the area’s accessibility to the Seoul metropolitan area and major metropolitan cities has greatly improved with the dense network of highways, railways, and arterial roads.
KTX and SRT Mokpo Stations, the Seohaean and Namhaean Expressways, and the intercity bus terminal are all within easy reach, enabling an “all-in-one” lifestyle that encompasses education, shopping, and nature. Additionally, large-scale industrial facilities such as Daebul National Industrial Complex and Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries are located behind Oryong District, ensuring stable demand. Residents can also share the administrative, educational, and commercial infrastructure of Namak and Okgam Districts.
This year, Moonjang Construction will also supply apartments in the Seoul metropolitan area. The “Gimpo City Hall Station GNHaim Apartments” (tentative name), which will be built as part of the Gimpo Sau District 4 urban development project, has garnered significant attention from potential buyers due to its prime location within ongoing development projects in the area.
This complex, to be built in the area around 297 Saudong, is expected to consist of three basement levels and up to 20 stories above ground. It will offer 249 units with exclusive areas of 60-85 square meters and 136 units with exclusive areas exceeding 85 square meters. Residents will be able to enjoy the lifestyle infrastructure of the Gimpo Redevelopment Promotion District, which will eventually supply a total of 18,654 units.
Next year, Moonjang Construction plans to supply more than 3,000 residential units-including 136 residential officetel units-in locations such as Pyeongtaek Godeok and Seongnam Pangyo Daechang District in Gyeonggi Province.
