View original imageAccording to the city on September 29, this inspection targeted six locations: the main branch, Sangdong branch, and Suseong branch of the Jeongeup Nonghyup Local Food Direct Store; the main branch and Haksan-ro branch of the Jeongeup Wonhyup Local Food Direct Store; and the Jeongeup Forestry Cooperative Local Food Direct Store.
The inspection covered several areas, including whether imported agricultural products and processed goods were being sold, the status of prioritizing the sale of local agricultural products, management of expiration dates, management of zoning and separation of local agricultural products, and whether results of residual pesticide and safety inspections for supplying farms were being posted.
Through this inspection, the city aims to prevent the mixed sale of non-compliant items, strengthen the prioritization and thorough quality management of local agricultural products, and create a direct store environment that citizens can trust and use with confidence.

Ko Yuhwa, head of the Agricultural and Fisheries Distribution Division, stated, "In preparation for Chuseok, we carefully reviewed all aspects of direct store operations so that citizens can use local food with peace of mind," adding, "We will continue to do our best to ensure a stable supply of local agricultural products and to secure consumer trust."
