Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on September 29 that it will launch a new Gyeonggi Premium Bus route, P9501, connecting Okgil-dong in Sosa District with the Pangyo business district in Seongnam City, starting from October 27.
The Gyeonggi Premium Bus is a metropolitan bus that operates one-way during weekday commuting hours. From Bucheon toward Seongnam in the morning, the service runs twice at 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. In the evening, from Seongnam to Bucheon, it also runs twice at 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
This route operates on a 100% seat reservation system for the entire section. Passengers can use the service after making a reservation through the metropolitan bus seat reservation app, MiRi.
To use the service, passengers must first sign up for the MiRi app, register their transportation card, and load a deposit. After that, they can search for route number P9501, select the departure time, boarding and alighting stops, boarding date, and seat to complete the reservation. Reservations for rides up to seven days in advance open daily at 10:00 a.m.
The Gyeonggi Premium Bus operates with deluxe vehicles, allowing passengers to travel comfortably in spacious seats. As an express service that stops only at major hub stations, it reduces travel time. The fare system follows the Gyeonggi Circulation Bus policy, with a base fare of 3,450 won for general passengers, and transfer discounts are also available.
