During the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit to be held in Gyeongju in October, SK Group will lead global discussions under the theme of the "National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ecosystem."
On September 28, SK announced that it will host the "Future Tech Forum AI," an official side event of the APEC CEO Summit scheduled for next month. The event will take place at Gyeongbuk Gyeongju Expo Grand Park, bringing together CEOs of domestic and international companies, government officials, and academic experts. On the same day, the "K-Tech Showcase" will feature a joint presentation by SK Hynix, SK Telecom, SKC, and SK Enmove, unveiling AI data center solutions. By demonstrating SK’s capabilities across all infrastructure areas-including semiconductors, power supply, and security-the event highlights that discussions on the AI ecosystem are closely linked to industrial foundations.
This discussion will continue at the "SK AI Summit 2025," to be held at COEX in Seoul on November 3-4. Under the theme "AI Now & Next," the event will bring together domestic and international companies, startups, and academia to share the latest technology trends and strategies for industrial application. SK emphasized that the questions raised in Gyeongju will be expanded at the Seoul event into concrete strategies and discussions on ecosystem expansion.

The APEC CEO Summit is an official economic diplomacy platform where leaders from various countries gather. The fact that a Korean company will lead topic discussions at this venue is seen as highly symbolic, as it demonstrates Korea’s role not only in promoting its technology but also in participating as an "agenda setter" in global governance discussions surrounding AI.
