The autumn night sky over Seoul was illuminated with fireworks amid the cheers of one million spectators.
The "2025 Seoul International Fireworks Festival," hosted by Hanwha, concluded successfully on the previous day, the 27th, in the area around Yeouido Hangang Park. Marking its 21st year, this year's festival featured three leading pyrotechnics teams from Korea, Italy, and Canada, who launched fireworks in front of an audience of about one million people.

This approach helped disperse crowds, which had previously been concentrated in Yeouido, Ichon, and Noryangjin, to areas such as Mapo and Seonyudo.
The Korean team captivated the audience with the theme "Golden Hour-Into the Shining Moment." Notable scenes included square-shaped fireworks synchronized with IU's "Dream of a Square" and crown-shaped fireworks set to "Golden," the theme song of the animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters.
The excitement at the venue continued online. The official Hanwha Group YouTube channel "Hanwha TV" live broadcast attracted up to 240,000 concurrent viewers and recorded a cumulative 2.18 million views.

Hanwha mobilized about 3,700 people, including employee volunteers and professional staff, while the Seoul Metropolitan Government deployed 5,000 personnel, including firefighters and police officers. The "Orange Safety" app, which monitors crowd density in real time, and area-specific CCTV monitoring were also in operation.
