A variety of side programs, including hands-on experiences and a market for local agricultural and specialty products, created opportunities for participation across generations and social groups.
In particular, the 50th Anniversary History Hall provided a comprehensive overview of the festival's history and the footprints of local residents over the past half-century, becoming a popular space where many visitors paused to share memories together.
Choi Jongsoo, Chairman of the Jeongseon Arirang Cultural Foundation, said, "The 50th Jeongseon Arirang Festival was a precious time created together by residents and visitors. Going forward, we will continue to develop the Jeongseon Arirang Festival as an event that preserves our unique national philosophy and rhythmic sentiment while communicating with the world. As the theme 'Jeongseon Arirang, Embracing the World' suggests, we will do our utmost to ensure Jeongseon Arirang resonates across the globe."
