View original imageCHAI Communication, an AI-based digital marketing company led by CEO Choi Youngseop, held the '2025 CHAI College Student AI Advertising Contest' awards ceremony at its headquarters in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on September 26, 2025, and announced the winning entries.
In this contest, a total of 19 teams were selected as winners, including one Grand Prize, two Gold Prizes, three Silver Prizes, and three Bronze Prizes.
Under the theme "Adding Value to Our Daily Lives and Society with AI, from A to Z," the contest encouraged participants to address the global environmental crisis by proposing ideas that leverage AI technology for small, actionable steps in daily life. The Grand Prize was awarded to the team of Lee Wonjoo (Seoul National University of Science and Technology), Oh Jia (Dongduk Women's University), and Kwon Jaehee (Kyung Hee University) for their project "Clean Break."
This contest, hosted by CHAI Communication, demonstrated significant interest in young AI talent, with leading industry organizations such as Adobe Korea, Kakao, Naver, and the Korean Advertising Society participating as official sponsors.
According to a CHAI Communication representative, many entries met expectations by showcasing how university students' healthy and unique creative perspectives could be realized through AI. Numerous works were selected as winners for presenting ideas and AI execution capabilities that are expected to inspire industry professionals.
Meanwhile, all Grand Prize and Gold Prize winners will receive cash prizes and the opportunity to participate in an AI internship program. During the internship, they will be directly involved in AI-based projects and advertising campaign production, and outstanding interns will be given preferential consideration and benefits during the application process for full-time positions.
