Practitioners from Woori, Hana, and Kookmin Banks Participate as Mentors

View original imageAccording to Jeonju University on the 26th, this event was part of the Jeonbuk GENIE Forum, a regional innovation growth platform, and was designed to give students hands-on experience and help them clarify their preparation strategies ahead of the upcoming competition.
More than 30 students from Jeonju University and Chonbuk National University participated in the event, showing strong interest. In particular, practitioners from major financial institutions such as Woori Bank, Hana Bank, Kookmin Bank, and Jeonbuk Bank took part as mentors. Through group Q&A sessions with the mentors, students received practical advice on understanding investment products, portfolio design skills, and risk management.
Kim Hyojin, Dean of the College of Business Administration, said, "It is very meaningful for local universities and financial institutions to collaborate and provide students with practical learning experiences," adding, "We will continue to strengthen field-oriented education and serve as a hub for nurturing talent in the regional financial sector."

Meanwhile, the College of Business Administration at Jeonju University plans to further expand project-based learning programs linked to the financial sector as a result of this initiative. The college is also promoting various industry-academia cooperation programs to enable students to experience real financial market environments and enhance their competitiveness for employment in financial institutions, going beyond mere knowledge acquisition.
