Professor Yoon Heechul of Daejin University’s Department of Architectural Engineering Holds Solo Exhibition at Government Complex Seoul Gallery
Yoon Heechul, a professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering at Daejin University (President: Jang Seokhwan), has been selected for the "2025 Government Complex Seoul Gallery Exhibition Artwork Contest" organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety at the end of last year. As a result, he will hold a solo exhibition at the first-floor gallery of the Government Complex Seoul from September 26 to October 31. A total of 12 artists were selected through this contest.

View original imageIn this exhibition, Professor Yoon Heechul will present 14 works under the theme "Korean Architectural Scenery," showcasing the beauty of traditional Korean architecture harmoniously blended with nature, including landmarks such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. Professor Yoon stated, "I prepared this exhibition to introduce the aesthetic value of Korean architecture and the formative beauty of tradition to the public."
Additionally, through this exhibition, Professor Yoon emphasized, "Traditional Korean architecture is not merely a building, but a product of a lifestyle culture that achieves harmony with nature," and added, "I hope this exhibition provides many people with an opportunity to newly appreciate the beauty and value of Korean architecture."
