The event began with social contribution activities aimed at coexisting with the local community. Employees were divided into two groups to participate in briquette delivery and orphanage cleaning volunteer work. On this day, employees delivered a total of 5,000 briquettes to neighbors and improved the facilities at the orphanage so that the children could grow up in a healthier environment.
A program to promote a “joyful giving” culture, reflecting the characteristics of younger employees, was also prepared. Samsung Biologics installed its self-developed photo booth-style donation device, “Nanumhancut,” at the event venue, allowing employees to donate 1,000 won and take a commemorative photo simply by tagging their employee ID cards.
In the afternoon, all participants gathered for recreational activities. During the “Blue Speech” session, two new employees who excelled in training and attitude shared their experiences of growth over the past year, their thoughts, and their future aspirations. In the “Challenge! Integrity Golden Bell” session, employees solved quizzes related to the company’s core values, such as sense of mission and communication, reflecting on the importance of fundamentals and principles.
Other highlights included a congratulatory performance by the in-house cheerleading club “Bio Supporters,” a mini-Olympics, a screening of first anniversary congratulatory videos from supervisors and families, and performances by singer Punch and the indie rock band Soran.
Park Jiyoung, a professional from the Plant4A Cultivation Group who attended the event, said, “It is very meaningful to be part of such an event at the one-year mark since joining the company. As a new employee, I realized the importance of growing while never forgetting the basics and principles, and this event has inspired me to work with even greater responsibility going forward.”
