Full-Scale Investment Promotion Activities for Aerospace, Defense, and Logistics Companies During GADLEX
Highlighting the Attractive Investment Environment of Gumi National Industrial Complex, the Largest Inland Complex with a 55-Year History
On September 25, during the 2025 Aerospace Defense Logistics Expo (GADLEX), Gumi City held an "Investment Environment Briefing" as part of its strategy to promote the city's excellent industrial ecosystem and locational competitiveness and to attract investments from major domestic and international companies. The event was attended by around 70 executives and employees from aerospace, defense, and logistics companies from both Korea and abroad.
The city highlighted the nation's largest inland national industrial complex, which boasts a 55-year history, the innovative infrastructure of the currently developing Gumi High Valley, the synergy created by linking the industrial complex with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Integrated New Airport, and plans to establish a cultural industrial complex that will shape the future of Gumi Industrial Complex No. 1 for the next 50 years.
In particular, the city emphasized its differentiated investment competitiveness through tax benefits, regulatory easing, and corporate support measures resulting from the designation of the semiconductor specialized complex, the defense industry innovation cluster, and the opportunity development zone.
