This campaign was conducted jointly with the Mokpo City Government Employees' Union, and more than 300 staff members participated, adding significance to the event.
City employees demonstrated their commitment to integrity through a "Integrity Practice Board Performance," directly expressing key integrity goals such as fair work processes, transparent budget execution, eradicating abuse of power and fostering mutual respect, active communication and collaboration, eliminating the acceptance of undue benefits, and ensuring fair personnel management and evaluations.
The city also issued an "Integrity Alert" to all employees, emphasizing the prohibition of receiving gifts or entertainment before and after the holiday, preventing the leakage of personal information, and banning inappropriate contact with parties related to official duties. Through these measures, the city aims to prevent corruption in advance and establish a culture of integrity within the organization.
A city official stated, "Integrity is the foundation of the public sector and the basis of citizens' trust," adding, "We hope that this campaign will serve as an opportunity for Mokpo City to become a more transparent and trusted administration."
