China: North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui to Visit China from September 27 to 30
On September 25, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Choe Son Hui, North Korean Foreign Minister, will visit China from September 27 to 30.
This visit by Foreign Minister Choe is taking place at the invitation of Wang Yi, Director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China and concurrently Minister of Foreign Affairs. A meeting between the foreign ministers of North Korea and China is expected to be held.
Choe Son Hui previously accompanied North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to Beijing from September 2 to 4, when he visited China to attend the military parade commemorating China's Victory Day.

Choe Son Hui, who took office as foreign minister in June 2022, will be meeting one-on-one with China's top diplomat for the first time during this visit.
