Accelerating Localization by Enhancing Products to Reflect the Needs of Loyal Local Customers
Design platform company Mirid announced on September 25 that its visual communication platform, Miricanvas, has surpassed 1 million cumulative overseas subscribers.
Miricanvas is a design platform that supports the creation of various types of content, including presentations, posters, card news, and detailed pages. Since its launch in July 2019, the platform had recorded 16 million cumulative domestic subscribers and more than 500,000 available templates as of December last year.
Having begun its overseas expansion last year, Miricanvas exceeded 1.2 million cumulative overseas subscribers as of September this year, just one year and nine months after entering the global market. The platform has shown notable growth particularly in English-speaking countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. In Japan, Miricanvas has secured approximately 240,000 subscribers, achieving a cumulative subscriber count exceeding 200,000.
The company attributes its success to a user-centric and differentiated strategy. By offering design styles that stand out from other services, a wide range of templates tailored to various professions, and high-quality features such as AI-powered presentations and AI image generation and editing-all available through free credits-Miricanvas has successfully expanded its user base.
