Uijeongbu City to Offer Free Public Parking for Three Days During Chuseok Holiday for Residents' Convenience
Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Donggeun) announced that all public parking lots within the city will be open free of charge from October 6 to 8, during the Chuseok holiday period, for the convenience of residents and visitors.
Currently, the city operates 79 public parking lots (66 off-street and 13 on-street) managed by Uijeongbu Urban Corporation, providing a total of 5,571 parking spaces.
To prevent confusion during the free parking period, the city will operate a full-capacity notification system and an integrated control center throughout the holiday. This is intended to maintain parking order and respond promptly to any public inquiries.
