Mastern Investment Management Wins Gold at LACP Vision Awards... First Korean Alternative Investment Asset Manager to Achieve This Honor
Mastern Investment Management, an alternative investment asset management company, has become the first domestic alternative investment asset manager to win an award for a sustainability-themed report at a globally recognized corporate and institutional report competition.
On September 24, Mastern Investment Management announced that it had won the Gold Award in the finance category for its integrated report at the "2024 LACP Vision Awards," hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), a global marketing organization based in the United States.
The LACP Vision Awards is a globally prestigious annual competition for annual and sustainability reports, with more than 1,000 companies and institutions worldwide participating since 2001. Reports are evaluated based on eight criteria, including first impression, cover design, financial information, and content structure.
Mastern Investment Management received perfect scores in six categories, demonstrating the excellence of its report. The company was also selected as one of the Top 100 reports in the Asia-Pacific region. After becoming the first domestic real estate asset management company to publish an ESG report in 2022, Mastern Investment Management participated in the LACP Awards for the first time this year and achieved a meaningful result on the international stage.
The award-winning "2024 Mastern Investment Management Integrated Report" systematically presents key information such as ESG strategy, investment performance, internal controls, and risk management systems, thereby enhancing transparency and reliability. The company first introduced a decentralized integrated report that separates financial and non-financial information last year, and continued this approach in this year's report while expanding the scope of information disclosure.
The company also improved information accessibility through the "ESG Fact Book," which organizes core ESG data.
The LACP Vision Award follows Mastern Investment Management's previous achievement at the Astrid Awards two years ago, further cementing its recognition by a globally respected institution. As part of the "Mastern Rebranding Project," the company published a corporate brochure titled "Excellence and More," which received the "Honor" award in the brochure category at the Astrid Awards, one of the world's top three design awards for corporate branding.
The Astrid Awards attracted participants from over 80 countries, including traditional design powerhouses such as the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, France, and Germany. Mastern Investment Management became the first independent domestic alternative investment asset manager to receive this honor, also proving its global competitiveness in the brand communication category.
