First, in the product evaluation session, more than 30 local companies participated to showcase products they manufacture and distribute themselves. Participants freely experienced the products and received one-on-one consulting and feedback from experts, including Coupang brand managers, actively exploring the possibility of joining the Coupang marketplace. The session received a very positive response on-site.
During the following roundtable, young small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs engaged in open and lively discussions on a variety of topics, such as strategies for joining Coupang, initial response measures in the era of artificial intelligence, and utilizing Coupang's accumulated data for product development that meets market demands.
Notably, the event drew attention as it went beyond simple logistics cooperation to include discussions on collaboration strategies for promoting Gyeongbuk's outstanding cultural industries nationwide and overseas.
Daejun Park, CEO of Coupang, said, "We will share our experiences of change and innovation in the commerce market with local young entrepreneurs and small business owners, and prepare various cooperation measures such as marketing support programs to expand into both domestic and overseas online markets and promote Gyeongbuk's excellent cultural industries. We aim to become a company that grows together with the region."
