It is an integrated transportation platform app that allows users to call and pay for various modes of transportation, including Ddokbus, shared bicycles, shared kickboards (personal mobility devices), and taxis. The app also provides real-time operation information for city buses and subways.
Launched in 2023, Ddokta has continued to expand its service areas and transportation options, resulting in a steady increase in users. As of September 16, the app surpassed 1.4 million cumulative downloads. It reached this milestone approximately 45 days after achieving 1.3 million downloads on Thursday, July 31.
To commemorate this achievement, the corporation selected a winner through a random drawing among new members who signed up for Ddokta on the day the 1.4 millionth download was recorded.
The winner was a member from Hoecheon-dong, Yangju City, who downloaded Ddokta, and a ceremony was held on September 23 to present a 300,000 won Onnuri gift certificate. The winner shared, "Through this event, I want to promote Ddokta to more people around me, and I feel like I've received good energy from the corporation."
The corporation also announced plans to hold an additional event, awarding a 500,000 won Onnuri gift certificate when the app reaches 1.5 million cumulative downloads.
Anyone who downloads the Ddokta app and signs up as a member is automatically entered into the event. The app is available for download on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and users can conveniently sign up through a simple registration process.
