Consumer Promotion Event in Collaboration with Small Business Owners
Diverse Programs Including Purchase Certification Event and Performances
Yeosu City in South Jeolla Province (Mayor Jeong Kimyung) announced on September 23 that it will host the "2025 Yeosu Heungguk Shopping District Companion Festival" for five days at the Heungguk Shopping District from now until the 27th.
This festival is a consumer promotion event held in collaboration with small business owners, aiming to revitalize the local economy and boost the vibrancy of the shopping district.
The event is part of the "September Companion Festival," the nation's largest consumer promotion for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners. It is designed to promote the shopping district and provide opportunities for market expansion.
During the festival, from the 23rd to the 26th, a purchase certification event will take place. Anyone who brings a receipt for a purchase of at least 10,000 won or 30,000 won from the Heungguk Shopping District to the event booth next to Myungrang Hotdog Singi Branch can participate, even if the receipt is not from the same day.
On the 27th, a variety of programs will be offered to provide entertainment for citizens and tourists, including street performances, a flea market and experience booths (such as bracelet and pouch making), and prize events.
