Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Holds "On-Site Import Regulation Consulting" Session
The Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Yoon Jaeho) and the Gyeongbuk FTA Trade Promotion Center held an "On-Site Import Regulation Consulting" session for companies in the Gyeongbuk region on Monday, the 22nd, in the first-floor conference room of the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gyeongbuk FTA Trade Promotion Center. It was arranged to support local companies facing difficulties due to the imposition of tariffs and the strengthening of import regulations following the recent application of the United States Trade Expansion Act (Section 232).

View original imageThe consulting program included: an overview of the latest trends in tariff measures under Section 232 of the United States Trade Expansion Act and guidance on how to report content value; an introduction to trends in reciprocal tariffs; and information on support programs for mid-sized and small businesses to respond to import regulations. It then proceeded with one-on-one customized consultations for each participating company.
Experts from law firm HwaWoo, Deloitte Anjin, and Samjong KPMG participated to provide detailed advice tailored to the specific characteristics of each company, which received a positive response on-site.
