View original imageThe Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 23rd that Sea World Express Ferry Co., Ltd. donated 30 million KRW as a contribution for neighbors in need in celebration of the holiday.
The donation ceremony, held at the office of the Deputy Mayor of Mokpo City Hall, was attended by Lee Hyukyoung, Chairman of Sea World Express Ferry, Lee Jonghoon, CEO, Mokpo Deputy Mayor Cho Seokhoon, Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, and related staff members.
Sea World Express Ferry joined the “Sharing Honor Company” program in April, a high-value donation initiative by Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae for companies that donate or pledge at least 100 million KRW within five years, thereby fulfilling its corporate social responsibility through sharing.
The donation made by Sea World Express Ferry for this holiday will be used to support neighbors in need of care and those in welfare blind spots within Mokpo City.
Lee Hyukyoung, Chairman of Sea World Express Ferry, stated, “As a company that has grown together with the local community, helping neighbors in need is a natural responsibility,” adding, “We will continue to practice sharing and contribute to building a warm local community.”
