The sharing activity, held at the Sinan-dong Administrative Welfare Center on this day, was organized to provide some support to neighbors who suffered difficulties due to the heavy rains in July, helping them spend the Chuseok holiday warmly. The donation will be used through the Community Chest of Korea to provide daily necessities for 20 households affected by the floods.
Lee Jungho, head of Gwangju Station, said, "I hope this will help residents near Gwangju Station who are struggling due to flood damage from the heavy rains," adding, "As a public enterprise committed to the local community, Gwangju Station will continue to carry out sharing activities to realize social value."
