Hold 'Win-Win Cooperation Achievement Sharing Meeting'
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced on the 23rd that it held a 'Win-Win Cooperation Achievement Sharing Meeting' together with the National Merchants Federation and the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership.
This event was organized to further strengthen win-win cooperation by sharing the results of projects carried out since signing the 'Community Co-Prosperity Agreement' with the National Merchants Federation and the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership in June last year, as well as to discuss future directions for collaboration.

The joint development of specialized products for traditional markets is a collaboration that combines Baemin's expertise with each market's signature products to create high value-added items such as meal kits and gift sets. Examples include the launch in February of three types of gift sets and five types of meal kits from Seogwipo Local Oil Market, as well as eight types of meal kits from Daegu Waryong Market. This month, the 'K-Merchant Cooperative Excellent Product Gift Set' was also introduced, further building representative products for traditional markets together.
In the area of expanding online sales channels, Baemin participated in the 'Seoul Chuseok Traditional Market Online Special Discount Sale' in September last year, providing discount coupons to help boost sales for traditional markets. As a result, sales at traditional market stores and alleyway shops supported by Baemin increased by about 80% compared to the previous month. Baemin will participate in the same event again this year to promote traditional markets and alleyway shops and help expand their sales channels.
Additionally, Baemin has established a real-time traditional market shopping service within its app, enabling bundled delivery of products ordered from multiple stores at once. Both intermediary fees and delivery charges for merchants are completely free. Currently, about 300 stores are registered with the Baemin traditional market shopping service, offering approximately 6,000 products. Furthermore, Baemin provides a variety of consulting services to cooperatives, which are alliances that allow traditional market merchants to plan and implement their own business initiatives.
Baemin and the National Merchants Federation have agreed to continue expanding win-win projects to strengthen the capabilities of traditional markets, including supporting the development of specialized products for local markets and providing online marketing support through cooperation with local governments.
