In particular, the focus was on maximizing youth participation and communication through an autonomous festival planned and operated by the youth themselves.
The festival attracted more than 1,500 young people and citizens, featuring a variety of programs such as youth center club performances, stage performances, youth policy promotion, and hands-on booths.
On site, a total of seven booths were operated, including youth policy promotion & surveys, a "Four Cuts of Life" photo zone, a sports zone, acrylic mood light making, tarot & astrology, skeletal/hair/personal color analysis, and upcycling sock yarn keyrings, all of which received enthusiastic responses. In particular, some of the experience booths operated on a reservation system, which increased participant satisfaction.
On the day of the festival, the city collected youth demands and suggestions for improvement through a youth policy survey. The results will be reflected in the formulation of future youth policies. For tasks that can be implemented within the remainder of this year, the city plans to act quickly to enhance effectiveness.
Kim Youngri, head of the Youth Policy Division, stated, "We will thoroughly analyze the survey results to ensure that the diverse voices of youth are reflected in next year's business plans. We are committed to creating a policy environment where young people can directly participate and feel the impact."
