Jeonbuk Province Offers Free Influenza Vaccinations
For Children, Pregnant Women, and Seniors
Program Runs Until April 30 Next Year
Jeonbuk Province will conduct the 2025-2026 seasonal influenza (flu) national vaccination program from September 22, 2025, to April 30, 2026.
According to the province, this vaccination program is being offered free of charge to children aged 6 months to 13 years, pregnant women, and seniors aged 65 and older, all of whom are at higher risk of severe illness if infected, in preparation for the winter influenza season.
The vaccinations will be administered in stages: starting on September 22 with children who require two doses, on September 29 with children who require only one dose and pregnant women, and from October 15, seniors aged 75 and older, followed by other age groups in sequence.
Seniors aged 65 and older are also eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine according to the same schedule, and simultaneous vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 is recommended.
Vaccinations are available at designated medical institutions or public health centers regardless of one’s registered address. Residents can check which medical institutions offer the vaccines through the Immunization Helper website or by contacting their local public health center.
