"Air Garden Air Purifier" Wins Main Prize
Kyowon Wells announced on September 22 that its direct water purifier, "Slim One," has won the Silver Prize in the Home category at the 2025 IDEA Design Awards.
The International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), is considered the top design award in North America. Alongside Germany's iF and Red Dot, it is recognized as one of the world's three major design awards. The judging panel selects winners based on a comprehensive evaluation of product excellence, innovation, and functionality.

View original imageThe judging panel gave high marks for sustainability and symbolism. The Slim One incorporates features that provide clean, mineral-rich water beneficial to the human body. Its cylindrical metal faucet is designed to represent a mineral filter. Recyclable materials are used, and the word "mineral" is engraved in English to highlight Kyowon Wells' health solutions. The colors "Marble White" and "Marble Warm Gray" were chosen to express water passing through rock layers.
Additionally, the "Air Garden Air Purifier" achieved consecutive recognition by winning the Main Prize at this year's IDEA Awards, following last year's main prizes at both the iF and Red Dot Awards. Inspired by the growth rings of trees, the design of the Air Garden Air Purifier reflects this natural motif, while the "Ice One Ice Water Purifier" incorporates wave patterns into its design.
